Gulf Coast Fire Investigation, Research, and Education is a forensic fire investigation consulting agency offering fire investigation, explosion investigation, expert witness testimony, and case consultation services globally. Gulf Coast FIRE is based out of Mandeville, Louisiana and has provided fire investigation and explosion investigation services to clients involved in the claims and litigation process throughout the United States, Canada, South America, and the United Kingdom (Europe) including representatives within both the public and private sector of fire investigation and explosion investigation.  Gulf Coast FIRE provides fire investigation and explosion investigation support and services to all facets of the claims industry that arise out of a fire/explosion loss including insurance representatives, litigators (representing both plaintiffs and defendants), and product manufacturers. Gulf Coast FIRE is involved in the various aspects of fire investigation and explosion investigation including origin and cause determination, fire and explosion analysis, case management, technical review, testing, evidence collection and analysis, and litigation support including expert witness testimony at trial or deposition.  Gulf Coast FIRE has been recognized as an expert in fire investigation and explosion investigation in both state and federal court systems.

Gulf Coast FIRE has experience in investigating losses caused by fire or explosion involving automobiles, residential structures, marine vessels, and large complex commercial structures.  Gulf Coast FIRE has established partnerships and working relationships with forensic engineers and other special experts to ensure the successful fire investigation or explosion investigation of any incident.

Gulf Coast FIRE’s methodologies adhere to international standards and guidelines governing fire investigation, including NFPA 921 Guide to Fire and Explosion Investigations and NFPA 1033 Standard for Fire Investigator Professional Qualifications.  Additionally, Gulf Coast FIRE has experience in the design, development, and implementation of fire testing and research burns and in the design, development, and implementation of training, education, and professional development programs and curricula for fire investigation.  Gulf Coast FIRE has directed and participated in fire investigation related testing and research burns conducted in the United States, Canada, and South America. Gulf Coast FIRE routinely utilizes fire testing and advanced fire dynamic analysis (including mathematical analysis through specialized fire dynamics routines and the use of computer fire models) to test working hypotheses and evaluate fire growth and development scenarios to ensure accurate fire investigation results.  Gulf Coast FIRE representatives have delivered fire investigation training and professional development programs globally including throughout the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, South America, Europe, and Asia.

Additionally, Gulf Coast FIRE representatives have worked with clients during the ISO 17020 Accreditation application and review process for forensic inspection organizations, providing consulting services including the drafting and preparation of quality controls manuals, policies and procedures manuals, and requisite applications.
